Alternatives – Krati apartments

The following information is not connected with or affiliated to poker festival. It is simply an example recommendation for solid alternative accommodation staying in Tallinn during the festival.

If you do not want a standard hotel or Airbnb, you can use guest apartments, which have one or two rooms (depending on booking), two beds per room, a kitchen, and a shower. This option is very good if you need a more private solution.

For example, you can use Krati Hostel Apartments, located at Krati tee 1 in Peetri village.

It’s only a 10-minute ride from the WSOPC Tallinn venue (Park Hotel Casino – check the Google Maps directions) and an 8-minute ride from the airport during non-peak traffic times. In rush traffic, add some extra minutes.

Keyless, Contact-Free, and Fully Automated Booking

It’s a totally keyless and contact-free solution. You can make a booking online and receive a doorcode that is available during your stay. Also, if you like jogging or walking, Peetri village is very good because there are many well-lit light rail streets for walking and jogging everywhere.

Taxi costs from venue to Krati Hostel are about 10 euros, depending on the time, and Bolt Drive would also be a solid option.

Note: The apartments are very standard, nothing special (you can check the apartments here), and many Ukrainian refugees stay there, but it is 100% safe and they do not cause any bother. Peetri village is one of the richest and developing areas in Estonia.

For a poker player who wants to sleep, have a private kitchen to cook healthy food, and enjoy jogging, it may be a better option than a hotel.

One negative side: the nearest grocery stores are Peetri Selver (Google Map directions) and Peetri Keskus (Google Map directions). Both are about 2 km away, so you must take a scooter, use Bolt Drive (cars are parked there), make a 25-minute walk, or order food through Bolt Food Market.
